It's generally recommended to stay in a sauna for 15 minutes followed by a 1-2 minute dip in the cold water plunge barrels. Repeat this combination 3 times during the 45 minute session finishing on a cold plunge to get the full benefit of your experience.

In the sauna it’s best to wear as little as possible, typically a towel or a swimsuit. This allows your skin to breathe and sweat freely. Bring a pair of flip flops to use for walking to different areas of Tinteán such as from the sauna to the showers to the cold water plunge barrels.
